Default Paper Tunning?

I was wondering if anyone knows any shortcuts to paper tunning. Im finding it hard and quite a lenghtly proccess. ShouldI be spending more time adjusting the rest?
And what is a good distance to keep between you and the target?

Yes, bare shaft tune. You'll have a tuned set up in less than an hour.

Actually, I think paper tuning is a short cut. It's less efficient then bare shaft tuning.
