Default arrow inserts?

this may be a stupid question, but when you glue in inserts can you use super glue or does it have to be the expensive insert\vane glue?

I just glued a few inserts and I obviously did something wrong because the insert and tip came busting out the back side of the block on the first shot I took. Then I used a 24 hour epoxy..no more flying inserts

I use a hot met for inserts. Many use an epoxy for permanent installation. Super glue dries hard and is very brittle. Over a period of time, the constant impact can crack the glue and cause the insert to remain in the target.
