put new string on its to long for my anchor point .not to much if I put some twist in it .I need to shorten quarter inch about how many twist will it take .will it change peep sight and kisser button thanks

probably somewhere around 10-15 twists. may be hard to accomplish depending on how twisted the string already is.

Depends on how long the string is. What's the bow? Double or single cam? Really doesn't matter much as any string should have enough twists in it that there is one rotation for about every 2" of string length. In other words, if the string is 90" long then it should already have about 40 to 45 twists in it. Many come from the factory with little or no twists at all. This contributed to peep rotation and noise. So in your case you need to shorten about 1/4". I'd say twist it up. As I said, how many twists depends on how long the string is.

Take it off and place the loop around a nail, pull it tight and measure it. Twist it up until you remove a quarter inch.

Yes it will change your peep and kisser button orientation.

Its a double cam champion .I use it for a back up bow .I was just setting it up .Dont want put any more money for its use .thanks for advice thou .I can live with it for that purpose
