Default Bow tuning tools

I was in the bow shop last night and saw a tool that snapped onto the string that had a sliding pointer on it. You snapped it onto string at the nock point then slid the pointer up to where the peep sight was and you could take the device off and always had the measurement for that bow. I was wonder if anyone knew where to come up with something like this.

I have ran a search on web and didn't come up with any advanced bow tools just the normal noc pliers and ect.

I should have asked the guy where he got it but we got to talking and I forgot to.

Thanks
Jeremy

Can't say I have seen or even heard of this device. Maybe Arthur, Len or one of the others might have a clue. The only unusual tools that I typically utilize are the R.S. levels and EZE laser centershot tool. Maybe one of those companies makes it. Just a thought.

Good luck finding it as it sounds like something I wouldn't mind adding to my arsenal.

I've always gotton a index card and a ruler, and for every bow that I've tuned, i wrote down the ata, brace, tiller measurements, the nock point, and the distance from the nock point to the bottom of the peep. Not what your asking, but chances are you have the materials at home.

Thanks guys. I will just have to ask him about it next time I am down there. I agree you can do the same thing with a tape and paper but this looked slick to use.
