Default Plastic or Feathe

hey when using the WB rest, is it better to use the plastic or feather fletchings

Either or. Doesn't matter. Feathers sure fly much better though.

Hi there, I agree, either are good. Your only question should be how much moisture (rain) are you going to be hunting in or around. Feathers do not like water very much.

Unfortunatley I do not have a choice - feathers for me.

I cannot say that I have really seen much of a difference either. I know that the original biscuit was known for chewing up feathers rather quickly but the newer versions seem to work much better in that regard.

Vanes if I had to choose.

Feathers are great, BUT... are a whole lot easier to damage and less longevity..

Vanes are more durable and will resist damge better and last you longer..

If you have some vanes that get that little wiggle in them just heat them up with a hair gryer and they will straighten out, or you can just dip them in some really hot water for the same affect..

Feathers only for me. I lock the vane in the corner of my mouth when i shoot and plastic tastes like #$@$. [:'(] YUCK[:'(] Plus something about feathers they just seem to look a lot nicer
