Im going to start using wraps. Need advice
I boogered up the last of my practice arrows for one of my bows last night and need to refletch. I live in the sticks so running down to thepro shopto get wraps will be impossible. I remember reading somewhere that you could use bumper sticker material to make wrapes, has anyone ever done this or heard of it. I have never used a wrap, or even seen one on an arrow before so any advice will be appreciated. Im going with wraps to help alleviate the abuse on my shafts from frequent refletching.;

Unintended consequences and God have one thing in common: Liberals don’t believe in either of them.
Best prices I have seen at $4.50 per dozen. I have the whites on my hunting arrows w/ 2x white vanetec's, and one flour orange vanetec and they look sharp and are SOOOO easy to refletch. No endless scraping when I want to refletch. I just cut a slit down the wrap and peel it off.
I too was going to suggest bowmanhunter as Rick James did. He makes excelent wraps and at a most excelent price. I have five dozen white wraps of his for later in the season.
I have done the spray paint thing in tha past and I prefer the wraps. They are much easier to apply, much quicker to apply, no mess, no taping anything, no fumes, they come off easier than paint.
By the time a person tapes up the shafts, sprays them all, and then waits for the paint to fully cure (24 hours) I could have wraped and fletched several dozen arrows.

It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."
I emailed bowmanhunter about a dozen 4 inch wraps for whenI was going to use Blazers. I was going to have him put "Dairy King" "Monster Bows" and "CP Oneida Eagle Bows" all spaced out so the words were in between the vanes. If I remember correctly, it would have only been 9.50. From what I've read, he's a great guy to do business with.

You're assuming that the same arrows will be available to refletch later rather than being lost or broken . I don't know about you , but I lose a couple of dozen annually , and suffer at least 10-20% breakage/bending on the ones I don't lose .

The spray paint can be cured in less than an hour by baking it on with a floodlight or heat lamp . Painting allows for custom cresting that will be unique to your arrows , manufactured wraps can't say the same since anybody can buy them . Paint also adds far less weight , so FOC change is minimal .

Wraps makes it nice when you have to remove the vanes. Just get the hair dryer out and peel them off. You're ready to start again.
I get mine from Adam at http://www.arrowwrapsunlimited.com/
I have never tryed the spray paint but I just did some arrows yesterday with some wraps I got from Ebay. I will let you guys know how they hold up. They came out pretty good and were not bad to work with.
