Default Noise with bow.

Here's my problem, I have an older bear blackbear bow @ 58# peak with wheels. I shoot fingers and I have string and cable (not the best but works) silencers. The problem is sometimes i shoot and my bow barely makes a sound, and sometimes I hear a loud but low thwang. I am thinking i might be torquing a little right, but not quite so sure, because I have good arrow flight.
Any suggestions? As always thanks in advance.

Default RE: Noise with bow.

check the nock on the arrow that it makes that sound when shooting, It maybe to tight of fit on string. If so just run it up & down the string a few times or use a file. just a thought
