Default Arrow weight + velocity = penetration SURVEY!

Hello, I'm new here and was thinking of changing my arrow setup. What setup do you use in regards to....

1.) What type and brandof arrow(aluminum or carbon) do you shoot?

2.) What does your arrow and broadhead weigh?

3.) What velocity doyou get from your setup?

4.) What type of broadhead do you use?

5.) How much penetration do you get on whitetail deer?

Thanks,

HILLBILLY

Darn near identical to Turkman's setup....

1. Easton XX75 2315 30.5" long
2.568 grains
3. estimated around 235 fps
4. 125 grain Magnus Stingers & 125 grain Slick Tricks (either/or)
5. Will be a total pass through (the stingers almost pass through my practice target! [&:])

My current set up is new and I haven't weighed and measured everything yet so I'll list last years set up.

29.5 inch terminator select 60-75
125 grain Slick Tricks
Total arrow weight = 491 grains
Speed was 265 fps making 76 foot pounds of KE.
Complete pass throughs.

Last year:

1- Carbon Express CX200 Hunter's, 28" long
2- 386 grains
3- 268 fps
4- NAP Scorpion XP 100's (mechanicals)
5- Complete pass through on 3 deer.

This year:

1 - Carbon Express CX200's, 27" long
2 - 356 grains
3 - 300 fps
4 - I will be using Wasp Sharpshooters or Stingers this year. Cut-on-contact should be better for penetration.
5 - KE is up to 71 ft/lbs so I have no worries about pass throughs this year.
