Default Fastflip Arrow Holder?

I recently bought the Fastflip Arrow Holder made by New Archery Products. A spring loaded rubber flipper is pushed down to hold the arrow and then flips out of the way when you begin to draw. The problem I'm having is that the slightest movement of the bow causes the flipper to move prematurely out of the way. This is without any contact with the arrow or bowstring. HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? I tried increasing the spring tension on my Quiktune 1000 rest but this had no effect. IS THIS A PROBLEM WITH INSTALLATION OR IS THE FLIPPER JUST THAT SENSITIVE?

Default RE: Fastflip Arrow Holder?

the fastflip has a little too much tension on the arrow holder arm. be sure the fork is in full comtact with shaft and adj. arm lower to shaft when in the rest position(by rotating it on the axle). don't mount the bracket so low that the rest will bounce the arrow when the arm flips up. good luck. jim
