Default D loop rope length

Does anyone know the length of the precut D loops you can buy through bass pro, cabelas, lancaster etc? I've only tied the precut ones on and I have some leftover loop material and I need to replace my loop. I really like that length the best.

Thanks

I believe that most are pre cut to 4 inches.

I have found that most pre-cut pieces are 4 1/5in I prefer ashorter string loop, It's a little tougher to tie but the loop is not as big. I usually cut my string to 4in then melt the ends so it ends up being a little shorter than 4in.I have a hard time getting it tied right and Ialso tie it over twoserved on nocks and that makes it even harder to tie. Once it is on though it's great. I have just enough room to get my release on without touching my arrow nock. The key is to tie it correctly so it won't slip off. I like to melt a pretty good size ball on each end to help "lock" it on.

If I can get a picture to load I will show the end product.

I like to tie mind short, if its to long, it will add to your draw length and may cause a change in anchor point.
