Default Broadhead/bareshaft tuning

I'm shooting an Hoyt Ultramag at 70 lbs and 29.5" draw with a Trophy Taker rest. I'm using Gold Tip 75/95 arrows at 29.5" with 125 grn tips and 5" helical feathers. When shooting bare shafts, they always hit about 5 inches left at 20 yds. My broadheads are about 3 inches left at that distance as well. Walk back tuning indicates a good center shot, and minor adjustments to that doesn't bring the groups any closer together. I'm thinking that I am over spined a bit, but before I buy new arrows, I'd like to know if there is anything else that I can try. Any help would be appreciated.

decrease poundage a little or go to 100 grain broadheads

1 increse poudage
2 increase point weight
3 decrese plunger tension on rest

Right or left handed?

Also, should you be only 5 yards or so, not 20? I can't remember.

When bare shaft tuning you should be 10 - 15 yards from the target. Shoot three fletched arrows and then two or three bare arrows. Adjust from there.

That's how I've always done it anyhow.

Something else, if you haven't already done it, you may want to download Easton's tuning guide from their website. It's a lot of help.

Right handed with a release. I began shooting at 10 yds and moved back to 15 and then 20.

Washington Hunter nailed it. Reading his post reminded me how I did it. Shoot 3 fletched arrows from 10 yards, then 3 bare shafts from 10 yards.
When I did that, I too was hitting to theleft. I was using a 75 grain point, changed to 100 and whammo......took care of it. You using a 125 grain point already, I wouldn't think you would need to go heavier. Maybe increase the poundage by 1 or 2 and see if that doesn't take care of it.
Shoot closer to start though....that far back will only make the problem seem worse.

I've had my hands on the Easton manual, Martin manual, and others for some time now.....just having troubles getting their recommendations to work out. However, I think I've got a couple more things to try out tonight. Thanks for the input everyone.

Please tell me you are not bare shaft tuning with broadheads.
