Default Hidden inserts

A buddy brought me over a dozen arrows to put together and they have the hidden inserts. I haven't messed with these? I assume you just apply the glue and then push them in the shaft with the platic tool provided? Let me know if this is correct and if there are any tricks to it. Thanks.

Yes that is correct. They should have a packet of epoxy, a chamfering stone, the little green tool and directions.

The epoxy requires you to keep the arrows laying flat for 24 hours to keep the inserts from moving inside the shaft before it dries.

Thanks big bulls, appreciate it. There are no directions. He bought the raw shafts and had them cut and they just sent all the stuff in a bag with him and no directions. Appreciate the info.

bigbulls is right, and make sure you don't substitute something for the 24hr epoxy..... bad news.

What happens if you subsubstitute for the epoxy? I used it on these but on all my arrows I just use super glue for the inserts. Holds better than anything I have tried.
