If it's the solocam (older model maybe?)the B/H can easily be moved back and forth depending on the cam timing. Make sure your cam is on the tuning marks and the B/H should be real close as long as the ATA is correct.

I believe there was a misprint in one of the original owners manuals for the Patriot w/ incorrect brace height for the patriot. It is really supposed to be 7" even. Check the tuning marks, that is the best indication and the most important thing to watch in my opinion.
