Default looking for new bow to finger shoot

I recently sold a Hoyt Vortec. When I bought it I was using a release. But later I wanted to switch to finger shooting and found that i just could not finger shoot that bow. Just wondering if anyone can help me with a bow that will fit my needs. Mainly I deer and turkey hunt. Do a select 3-d shoots just for season warm up.Thanks for any help.

There are still a few bows out there that can be considered good finger bows. I make that statement after going to Cabelas the other day, and it seemed like 90% of the bows they had were less than 36" ATA. I shoot with a release, but the bow I shoot should be an ideal bow to shoot with fingers. 40" ATA, 7.5" brace, smooth draw, and it still is IBO rated at 311 fps. It is the Darton Tundra. Other bows considered good for fingers shooters would include the Bowtech Constitution, Hoyt Protec, or Mathews Ovation.

scriqui, I would recommend the Hoyt, UltraTec with the cam and 1/2. The best of all worlds for fingers shooters. I shoot both the ProTec and Ultra Tec with fingers. The Ultra is my favorite. Fast, forgiving and no tuning problems. Set it and forget it.

I'd also say Reflex Caribou (less expensive?) if we're talking compounds.

CP Oneida Black Eagle. There are numerous BE finger shooters and a few barebow finger shooters that I have talked with and they say it's one of the best finger bows on the market. Tip to Tip is, if I rememeber correctly, 42 inches. You have a PM, my friend.
