Its easier to just spend a couple more bucks and get the one with the large hole in it......but if you must drill it out , put it in a bow press and remove the peep before you drill it...
Or the bit will grab, the drill will twist and the next thing you know your string is nicked from the edge of the drill bit[:'(].
Don't ask me how I know.........

I have a tru peep I use for targetand I was wondering has anyone ever drilled the hole bigger and if so how large before it gives out.
I have drilled them out to 11/64 but drilled them before installing, you could get them to go a bit bigger but if that is the case then buy a bigger peep.

I picked up a couple of the new 1/4" size last night. It doesn't look like you could drill them out much more and still have enough material left. There is a point where the wall gets so thin that you can't see it well.
I could show someone how to drill them out bigger without removing the peep from the string, but trying to explain it on the forum? Nope. I will give you a hint though.... DO NOT use an electric drill. It's all handwork, various size drills from smaller to larger, and using a tap handle like this:
Or you could take it off, throw it away and get yourself a NO-PEEP,then you would also have something on your bow that will show any hand torque and make you anchor the exact same way EVERY time.jmho.
