Default Quickspins and Fixed broadheads?

Thinking of trying Quickspins. Does anybody use them on fixed head broadheads and what size do you use if you do 2 1/2 or 4"? And I guess finally how do they perform in terms of grouping and trajectory? I would be shooting them on Gold Tip XT 5575 shafts and a 62 lb Patriot and 100 grain ( probably Slick tricks ) broadheads.

I use them currently with 100 graing Magnus Stingers 4 Blade. I had GREAT flight with them. You using Slick tricks,I believe you will also have great flight, also. If I remember correct, you use a drop away. As long as you have no clearance problems, I dont think the rubberyness will be a problem for you. The only downside besides that is the price for only 36. Im currently testing Blazers with my Stingers, and one of the workers up at my shop had 2.5 inch QS on his target arrows, Im thinking of giving them a whirl with my Stigners just to see.

Terry, I've used the set up you're mentioningin my line of hunting, but have since changed to the 2" Blazers.
My sight pins immediately moved 'closer together' and the combo works great---try the 2" blazers with the Slick Tricks, if your bow is set up correctly--you will hit a 'poppy' @ 60 yards---kid you not!!

Well, I wish I could do that. Likely can everytime with a rifle (LoL) but not quite yet there with my bow! So a 2" blazer is enough to stabilize a slick trick or other fixed broadhead eh? The blazers are definitely easier on the pocket book. You know ever since I hooked up with that Darn Nubo I have been blowing money on this archery disease!!! Gotta stop this if I ever want my kids to go to school

Slick Tricks are very accurate heads and most any vane will work with them. 3 blazers will be enough to stabilize them for sure. The quick spinss are great and do a fine job of stabilizing larger heads that are harder to control. I can't tell you if they are worth the money or not, only you can decide that. I do have a reivew of the 2.25" quick spins on my website

Terry you can only blame yourself if you want to hang around with a bow 'fanatic' like Nubo--guess 'we' should also stop communicating also.

Hey Keith,
Ok I admit I am a junkie also. Just happened to be driving by Basspro and the car started acting funny so I thought I would pull in for a bit of a break and wouldn't ya believe it I walked out of there with a couple packages of 2" blazers! I have yet to try fletching myself so I will let you know how I make out.

Nubo,
Yeah you can have some to try out too.
