Default Anyone take a deer with the 7/8" Sonics yet?

Just got a half doz. of these broadheads they fly true & appear to have a better design than most for penetration into toughbone & sinew.
My concern is the cutting diameter, when compared to my Thunderheads they look awful small, about 5/16" difference in heads. Are they lethal enough to take a large whitetail?

Yeah, they're definitely lethal. The blood trail it left was the widest and shortest I've had. They're also the sharpest broadhead I've seen right out of the box, and I was using NAP Thunderheads and Nitrons before. They are pretty small in diameter though. That's why I've just got a half-dozen of American Broadhead's new Liberty heads. They're 1-3/16" diameter with the same design as the Sonics. I can't wait to try them out this fall.
