Default Sight question

I have been shooting a Trophy Ridge Matrix 5 pin for the last few years and love the vertical pins. I really can't complain about the sight and it has served me well. I like to tinker with new stuff once and a while and a new sight has been in the back of my mind for a bit. What are your thoughts about the Spott Hoggsights? Do you think I will have a difficult time adjusting back to the horizontal pins? The pins on the Spott Hogg seem to be pretty thick, sowill my sight picture be clogged up as compared to the Trophy Ridge? I still want at least a five pin sight. If you all have any other suggestions it would be appreciated!

IMHO Spott Hogg sights are the best fixed pin sight there is.

I found it to be the oppisite when I switched from TR to SH.

Here is a pic of my sight picture.

The only complaint I had with the SH is the pins where not bright enough but for $7.50 it is an easy fix I just replaced the fuber optic.

I have the SPOTT HOGG HUNTER HOGG IT and I love it! The pins are tough and you can get them in 019 an 029 sizes as well as a large or small sight guard. The center wire and pins align to facilitate gang windage adjustment and also helps form a semi cross hair (3 sides). The pins are bright enough for this old man plus there are some pretty inovative ways to brighten them.

Where did you get the "fuber" optic strands? I want to mess with mine. Not that I need to as the pins are pretty bright as they are.

I have to agree. The Spott Hogg sights are some of the best, if not the best, on the market. Design and durability being their strong points. The sight pins will probably take up more of your sight picture but not to the point as to be unusable. I don't think it will bedifficult transition.
