If you are going to shoot broadheads you should get a hard helical. I shoot a right helical, but only because I like how it twists. A left helical has no difference vs. a right helical.

Is it true that left helical can cause broadheads to get loose when shooting?

I have heard that this could happen as the result of using a left helical. If you think about it, it does make sense. If it does happen then you will have to shoot several shots for it to come off. As soon as the arrow hits the target it stops spinning. It would only twist a tad bit. It's not like your broadhead will fall off in midair.
