PRobably. Depending on how its tied in, its trivial or takes some reserving. If its tied in with slip knots, just slip them apart and move the peep, now slip them back together. You might have to cut the serving if its tied in, then reserve it in (very easy operation).
the only catch would be if you are not using a peep aligner (such as a rubber tube) to pull the peep around to the right angle. When you move the peep up the string, it will rotate because the strands are twisted. If this is the case, you will need a press. Move the peep, then twist one end of the string and untwist the other (to keep the same number of twists overall) until the peep comes around right.
