I have been shooting my carbon arrows with Judo points for quite awhile now. Having a blast kicking an old basketball around and smacking it with the Judo point. Good fun and great practice for judging distance.
Yesterday my arrow went through the b-ball as usual at 30 yards and skipped off the ground and landed about 20 yards further. I examined the arrow and found a small chip in the shaft. So I flexed the arrow like your supposed to and it snapped right in half. What a wake-up call.
I emailed carbon express one time because I had a tiny little chip in my carbon. The said they don't even recommend shooting scratched arrows because of the internal damage you may not see.
