Tried a $9 dollar carbon arrow with a judo point and snap the arrow in half and lost the springs on the judo point. Just got the blunt end. I shoot CX200 with a Bowtech Allegiance. I do have a wisker biscuit on my bow and the other day I was walking around in a archery range where the barrels were for broken arrows and found some nice carbons. I cut down a couple with a small pipe cutter and either pinched or put an old insert at the ends and now small game arrows without the price.
Having shot Judo points with carbons with no problems, I can only suggest that you use Terminators or maybe Gold Tips in the future. Also for your own safety,, as well as the safety of those around you, please stop picking arrows out of the "broken arrow barrel" and cutting them with a tubing cutter. You can't possibly be saving enough money to make it worth the serious injury you are heading for.
