ok after much research again i have added a few options for my BK2, a GT Pro Hunter 7595 with a 28 in arrow weighing in at 372 grains completed arrow with a foc of 10.21% or a GT Pro Hunter 7595 cut to 29in weighing in at 380.9 grains with a foc of 9.96% or a GT Ultralight Pro Series 22 cut to 29 in weighing in at 373.2 with a foc of 10.25%.
Let me know what ya'all think before i go to the shop and spend mu'la.
I don't think those arrows are that accurate on real actual weight. My Pro 22's weigh in at 379 grains with 3x white plastifletches, gold tip pro 22 inserts, and the GT lock nocks. They are cut to 28".
GT pro's 28.5 with 3 4" vanes and a 100 head is where I'm at right now. I have had very good results with the same shaft and 3 4" gateway feathers and a 85 head but not as good. I've gotten just as good of results with GT hunter shafts 5" vanes and a 100 head as the pro's with feathers. The shaft as it is now is around 404.
If you can, do yourself a favor and make your own. I do 1 or 2 at a time until I settle on one. When you do find the best just strip the others and make them all the same.
Kbacon im getting all the info stratight from goldtips web sight utilizing their build your custom arrow section, i keep miss matching components till i get the foc nearest to 10% as possible, they recomend 8%-12% foc.and im trying to get the best arrow for under 400 grains with BH, to keep speed up, the arrows i shoot now weigh in around 500grains and seam to fly slow to me.
My GT 7595's (which I don't shoot now) are 386 grains with 3 4" Plastifletches, 100 grain point, insert, and GT nocks. They are 27" from insert to nock of the throat.
ok thanks bacon, 400gr i think will still get me better performance then what im using now, thanks guys for all your inputs gonna try them 7595's at 29 in and see how that suits me.
