Default What arrows to choose?

I am currently shooting arrows that weigh approximately 500gr including BH.
I am looking at getting a dozen Gold Tip Ultra Pro 400 cut at 29 inches the completed arrow will weigh in at 350.6gr Including a 85gr, muzzy 3 blade or a 85 thunderhead 3 blade (not sure yet).
With all the options I have choosen on this arrow, Its front of center balance is 9.74%
My bow is set a BK2 and set at 70lbs. and 30in DL. I am shooting a WB rest and a Thru Fire release. The Bk is quiet as im shooting it now, will the new arrows change my noise level?Would this be a good switch from a log to this light of an arrow? Will my BK2 be able to handle that light of an arrow? Should i consider some other arrow type or weight?
Thanks all, good luck and good shooting.

At the speeds that setup will be generating.. getting good flight w/ a fixed blade broadhead will be tough... esp a thunderhead or muzzy.

I shot my Patriot Dually at 70# w/ a 400gr (including 100gr point) Gold Tip 7595 at 308fps.... I got the best flight w/ 100gr Magnus Stinger 4 blade, Steel Force 100 gr, and Wacem 100 gr. Also might look at mechanicals.

A few that I'm going to try this year are Razorcaps and Grim Reapers.

Also you have speed to spare w/ that setup.. so I'l go w/ a little heavier arrow.. the heavier arrow will make the bow quieter and less critical to shoot.

I think Id go with a stiffer arrow than a 400 . Thats too week of an arrow at 29 inches and 70 lbs especialy out of a BK . 385 - 340 would give much better results .

Welcome to the board , It would be nice if you filled out your profile , we have been haveing some issues here with new members with no profile . What part of Florida are you from ?

Like already mentioned, Id go with stiffer shafts and a little heavier broadhead. I shot gold tips and use at least a 100 grain tip. Your foc will be a little better and you should get better flight.,

Just a suggestion and I dont even know if you can get them any more, but carbon express terminator 65 70s are great hunting shafts. Little heavier than most but fly great. I used them for three seasons and loved them. Still have about a dozen and use them with one of my juiced up bows.
