Swapping Limbs on an Allegiance
I have a question for you Bowtechies.
I have 2 Allegiances with the same specs: 70#, 28" draw. Currently the way the bows are setup, both actually measure 28 1/2" AMO, 69# max draw weight, 78% letoff, 7" brace height and shoot the same 398 grain arrow at 284 fps with a loaded string. In other words they are identical.
Except in one area. One of the bows has absolutely no cam lean / limb twist of the top limb while the bottom limb has marginally bad lean. The other bow is the opposite: bad lean on the top cam with none on the bottom cam.
How bad would it be to mismatch the limbs from the 2 bows, so I get 1 bow with no twist / lean of both the top and bottom cam? [&:]There are 2 sets of numbers written on the inside of the limbs, I assume 1 of them is deflection but they are greek to me. I mentioned that the 2 bows are otherwise identical to suggest the limbs seem to be acting the same.
