I recently purchased new arrows and the nocks fit tighter on the string than the nocks on my previous arrows. What affect does a tighter fit on the bow string have on the flight of the arrow if any? With a tighter fit it seems that I have to make sure that I hold my anchor point until the arrow has cleared. Is this possible?

Vary adverse effect on the flight of arrows with fixed broadheads , and bad for fieldtiped allso . Your nocks should just hold the arrow weight , and when you tap the string lightly the arrow should fall off .
