Default New Bohning Xcelerator Wax

I know that it is not something we think about very often, but I have just discovered that there IS a difference between different string wax products. The New Bohning Xcelerator is infinitely better than the old Bohning Tex-Tite stuff, IMO. (It's the one in the red chap-stick type applicator.) For starters, it is softer, so it really seems to work into the string better. And it actually seems to condition the string because of this. Another thing is that it does not seem to ball up into little boogers and fly off the string either! Just thought I would share my new found discovery.

I also tried it out... it's extremely slick also... not sticky at all.

Only problem I see w/ it.. is you're paying more $$$ for a smaller stick.. and it seems to take alot to coat the strings and cables... I just wonder how long that little chap stick tube will last???

i wasn't completely happy with either the bohning textite or whatever it is, or the black lightning, so i melted them both and mixed them up and poured them in the tube. its pretty darn nice and long lasting, but it does booger up.
