Default Cord Release

I am out to upgrade my release and use my present one as a spare. I have seen those where the release is attached to the wrist strap by a cord, rather than a stiff braided hose, like mine.

Anyone have advice on stiff connection versus cord connection?

TIA (Thanks in Advance)

Default RE: Cord Release

There can be an advantage to the string type. For one you can't get a hold of it and possibly torque it when shooting. It just follows the lead of the bow according to your shooting form. It's kinda like anything else. Once you get used to it you'll not have any issues.
