Default Login issues

I recently updated my virus protection to NIS and Norton Antivirus 2004 and now can't log on. I get a message about NIS 2002 but no dice. If anyone could help out I would greatly appreciate it. Hunter yes, computer programmer no! Thanks in advance. Gary

By the way if I disable everything I can get in (obviously being that I am posting this) but don't like having my britches down while browsing the best hunting site on the planet. Shameless plug! Thanks again, Gary

Gary don't feel bad. I have the same exact problem. In order to post on this forum I have to disable my Norton. I have the same program you have. It's been nothing but trouble. When I close my Outlook Express most of the time I get a warning saying a illegal operation has been performed and will be shutting down.I never had these problem before I installed the Norton Internet Security 2004.My computer was even put in the shop, uninstalled, reinstalled and it's not much better then it was.My computer still shows connected but it won't broswe. Disconnect then reconnect and it works for awhile.I don't want to be without some protection but I'm starting to wonder if it's worth all the trouble it's giving.????? If you find a solution please let me know. I will likewise. Thanks

Not sure if you guys want to disclose that type of information. Its like saying...

"Hi. I'm vulnerable. Hack me please"

I would try to play with your cookie settings before you disable your firewall.
