I've noticed now when making a new or even just responding to a post. There is not a box to check so you can receive an email notifying you that someone responded to the post. (It used to be near the Add Signature box) Any ideas on whats going on. Please pm me me with an answer.
As it stands now, I don't know if anyone responds to a subject that I responded to. Unless I got to that subject and scroll thru it.
I'm guessing Justin removed it from the board features.
The problem is that people start checking the boxes and don't realize what they're doing. Then they get a gazillion email notifications. Because they don't remember 'subscribing' to the threads/topics/forums they then send us nasty emails about getting the inbox full of subscription notifications.
I can't just go in and turn them off for someone without messing up their password and about half the time they can't fix it on their own. [&o]
...so... I think Justin might have just scrapped that whole thing.
