New HELP!! PICS

When trying to post pics it says the files are too large,even with just one pic. How do I reformat the picture file to upload them to forum posts and my trailcam/photo gallery?????????

I'm prolly the last guy in the world that needs to give anyone puter advice, but on my program which came w/ Olympus camera I can reduce the size from 100% to 20% and that usually gets the ones I want to post to under 200kb. If you pm me w/ email addy, I have the instuctiuons from my puter guru in My Documents and can email them to you if that would help. If they come out over 200 kb after all of the above, I have to delete them andstart over, just go lower than the 20%

I have Windows XP and save all my pics to my Pictures. When I am uploading a picture to a Postand it says File To large, I click Cancel on the bottom of the Post, make sure it says Embed picture in post, click upload pictire in post again,Click Browse again. When my pictures come up again, I Right click and click on Resize Picture. You will have a choice of Small, Medium or Large. When it completes resizing, you will have another of the same picture on your Pictures that will say Small or Medium,Left click on the new Picture and it will upload it, click OK in the Browseand OK on bottom of post.HNI prefers Small, but sometimes Medium will work. It takes meless than a Minute tp complete.

Well, you can use the Photobucket way,

1. Register with Photobucket
2. Go to my album
3. You should see a browse icon near the top of the page
4. Click that and navigate to the picture you want to upload
5. Click submit and wait while it uploads
6. You should scroll down and then see the picture there
7. Directly under the pciture it should say URL and then show something that looks like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v505/KonaBoy_93/CorytheOpus2.jpg
8. Copy this
9. Go to the post you want to reply to
10. There's an add image button (furtherst right, looks like a mountain)
11. Click that and post the URL you copied and you're good.
