Default starting taxidermy with questions

Hello, I have looked on here some to find answers and also searched on taxidermy.net but would still appreciate feedback. I am wanting to start learning taxidermy for a hobby and possible future job. I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good shop to send hides to for tanning, prefferably one that is on line. Thank you.

when I was doing the work,I like to do it all myslef.I never sent anything out except a couple of full body turky's.

you can go to www.taxidermy.com for info.

or call 1-800-334-8012
1-800-777-2709
1-800-872-3699

one of these should be able to help with that kind of info. WASCO (wildlife artist supply co.) is pretty good for any supplys or info you should need.

good luck in getting started.I enjoyed it greatly, had to give it up due to an accident.[&o]

I send all of my hides and capes to The Wildlife Gallery in Michigan. They do an excellent job. They are also on the Taxidermy Net.
