I NEED HELP!!!

I just found this thing dead in the woods and i want to get the skull clean and white. Someone suggested pressure washing it and then applying a 40% peroxide / basic white powder mixture. Has anybody tried this? Any other ideas?

Clean off all old skin ,dirt etc. Mask the horns off and give it a couple coats of white spray paint. Much better and whiter than bleaching which can soften the bones. IMHO. BTW Nice rack

Yowser! Normally I just like to post some info to help, but I think this time I better offer to come right out there and help you personally!!!! Hahaha, what a pretty gal, heck with the antlers. On a serious note, cut off the hide, scrape off the meat, then either let the remaining meat "weather" or try pouring boiled water over it and then remove it as cooked meat. I dont boil skulls. Then use a pressure washer for the remaining stuff, dont forget the sinus and brains. Then, yes, the foam type peroxide IS the best way to go. Thats how the professionals whiten them.

CUT off all you can.Then take it to the car wash:} works very good. Then make a paste out of the 40% hydrogen peroxide put it on the skull put skull in plastic bag so it dries slowly. for a real white skull you may need to do this 2 times. JUst do not use the wallmart peroxide it is not good enough.Allso do not use bleach .Make sure to use it in a paste so you donot get any on the antlers.

Set it in a tub of water so that the skull is covered.The microorganisms will eat away at the tissue and after changing the water to repeat the process a few times,it should be clean and undamadged.It may be harder to fit that thing in a pot or drum to boil,but if you can,its esier and quicker,but you may damadge some of the nasal structure.Id take off all I could,then try the tub of water thing.Regardless of how you clean it,the best way to bleach or whiten it is with 40%hydrogen peroxide or the 3% pharmasy stuff.I never paint them.
