Default Sewing fur???

Hi all~
I have alot of tanned beaver hides (mostly scraps), that I need to do something with.
Does anyone know how to succcessfully sew them into something? I was thinking about making some into fishing flys, or dream catchers. Does anyone have any better ideas, or tips for me?
I have never sewn fur before, and I'm not sure if there is a certain special needle or anything that has to be used with fur.
Thanks in advance for any help!!
