Default Homemade taxidermy projects

Me and my Dad made these mounts by ourselves.

We did not make the real nice looking mount in this pic (8 ptr) That 8 was shot with a gun in 2001 by my dad. But here is a pic of all the antlers hanging in the room:

D'oh I forgot to get a pic of the 4 pt he shot, it was his first deer ever. I don't have any mounts yet, but my next red squirrel, my first yote and my first turkey and definetly my first buck will get mounted.

Enjoy the pics!!!

How did you make that gun rack did you skin the feet or just let them sit for a while? I like it.

You could get the feet off a deer that you shot (thats what we did) or you could go to your butcher and grab a few legs. Basically, you bend them in the positiong that you want them, salt them up and let them dry up. You should put something like a tie wrap or something on the feet to hold them in place. Then glue them onto the board, staint the board, then hang your gun/bow on it. Good Luck!!1

After looking at your guys's euro mount it would make me think twice about getting a full head mount. I think those euro mounts look sweet.
