Default how to keep

I shot a wood duck today that I would like to get mounted but I would like to wait to see if I score on a nice buck this year. I cant afford both so I would like to hold off on the duck for a month or so. What is the best way to keep the duck until I make a decision on what I am going to do.

Thanks Chris

if you get your daily paper in one of those clear plastic tubes, take the bird and slide it in head first.this will help keep the feathers stright and want break them. then after the tube roll it in news paper ( several layers). place in freezer laying flat.

most imporant thing is keep it stright, aand covered till your ready.it will stay for several mo's. like this.

congrats. and hope you get that big buck.
