how do i go about mounting a deer

I am new to hunting, and was wondering if i killed a nice buck, how do i go about getting it shoulder mounted.....also how would i get a full body yote mount. I willnotbe doing it myself, but was wondering as far as how should i prepare the animal for the taxidermist.

go to your local taxidermist and ask questions on how he would like you do handle the game.
also some have picture cards that show how it needs to be done.

I WOULD GO AROUND TO A FAMILY OWNED SPORTING STORE, AND ASK THEM WHO THEY MIGHT RECCOMEND! SOMTIMES THEY WORK CLOSE TOGETHER. ASK TO SEE SOME OF THEIR WORK SOMTIMES ITS NOT ALWAYS GOOD TO GO TO THE CHEAPEST PERSON!!THIS IS YOUR TROPHEY, AND YOU DESERVE TO HAVE IT DONE RIGHT!!

In the case of a shoulder mount, contact your favorite taxidermist and ask him how the animal should be caped out at the processors. Generally, if you ask for it caped for a shoulder mount, the processor will know how to do it, but make sure he/she does first. As far as a yote, If you have the freezer space, freeze the whole animal if you want a full mount. Taxidermists cuts generally differ from trappers/hunters....etc.... If you cant freeze it, call you taxidermist and ask how you should skin the animal out. Obviously, dont let the animals sit out, get them in the freezer asap. Hope this helped.
