Default Squirrel Mount

I'm planning on getting a black squirrel mounted. Could anyone tell me the pros and cons of freeze dried mounts vs. tanned mounts? I want to know which direction I should go. Thanks.

For something like a squirrel, I think you'd be better off with a regular mount. Freeze drying will work, but that's a lot of tissue for bugs to find.

anything freezed dried has a chance of bugs in the futher.you can keep close eye on them and keep them spraied and you should have no problem.
a regular mount will last for years and no upkeep much.

the freeze dried mount will be a little more care than tanned but tanning takes a bit longer to do.
