Default First taxidermy project

This is my first taxidermy project. I shot this Drake last fall and mounted it a week ago. Just wanted to see what you guys think.

first of all NY Yote, welcome to hunting.net!!! what part of NY are you from? i am from the southern tier, Rockland county region. there are lots of good people and things to talk about on hunting.net! that project looks very good for a first timer....

for your first project ; it looks great.nice work.read all you can and go to all the shows and remember all you see.put it to work.shows will give you some ideas on what and how.take all the pic's. you can

it is a great career ; if thats what you want.if not it is a money making sideline.
I had to get out of it,because of my back.couldn't sit and do the work.

Nice job on the duck, i am going to be taking lessons from a local taxidermist in the fall, cant wait until i have mounts of my own!
