Default Quick Question about Dermestid Substrates

Hey sorry to bother you with a possibly stupid question, but I just want to make sure before I **** anything up. Do you know if dermestid colonies thrive alright in coconut fiber substrate? Ive always used non-cedar chips, shredded paper, cotton stuffing, and styrofoam but I have an overload of eco earth right now so I was hoping it might be ok. Thanks in advance
