Default Stone Sheep finished

Here is a Stone Sheep we just finished. I would love to hunt one of these some day. The bad thing is that it took my client two trips to harvest one. I don't have to tell any of you sheep hunters how much that cost for two trips to harvest one of these !!

They are such a cool looking animal. Nice looking mount also! Question for you guys about a full body mount. When skinning the animal, what do you do when you get to the bottom of the leg? Do you just cut the leg bone above the hoof?

Rob, yes just cut the bone about 1/2 way up between the hoof & knee. You want to leave enough bone to hold onto for your taxidermist to finish taking the bone out of the hoof.
