Default Short Ceiling, unique mount ideas...?

I have a basement that I am turning into a game room..the problem is the ceilings are low...7-7.5ft.

I have a deer on the wall--and it is fine. Mounted just below eye level-the problem is larger animals...elk, caribou, and African game.

Does anyone have examples of mounting techniques that still allow shoulder mounts-but in a way that works with limited space?

I am looking at some pedestal ideas-but would love to see some pictures of others who have adapted to similar situations.

No matter if you mount on the wall or on a pedestal, all your large/long antlered/horn animals will be below eye level. It just depend on how far below eye level you want them.
Good luck and post some pics when you get them mounted.
