Default Turkey Beard Help

I normally mount all of my own turkey fans with no prlblem when I dried my Merraim this year the beard curled real bad almost 90 degrees.
Can anybody tell me what the best way to straighten is.

Thanks is advance for any help you can offer.

Default RE: Turkey Beard Help

Several things pop into my head with this one, and without going on about them, its could be too much skin left attached to the beard, a very dry or hot drying environment, these are the conditions that usually contribute to this condition, try rolling the beard gently in paper towel until dryed this may help to keep thing straight.
