Tan a deer hide so as to keep the hair in it? I really want to make a blanket that has the hair in it. Hopefully I'll kill several more deer this year, and it just seems like a waste to not do something with the hides. Thanks, and sorry that I'm a newbie to the whole taxidermy thing.

find a tannery in your area and have them do a soft tan on the hide. Carolina Furcan do it. 919-231-9933.
