Flying pheasant mount...

Went out last weekend with my pup and dropped a dandy rooster sporting a 22"+ tail. I've been looking for the right bird and I think this is the perfect one. Was hoping some of you had pics or ideas on how to mount it, what it generally runs price-wise, and maybe show some pics/examples you may have.

If I had one w/ a nice tail like that I'd spread it out and show it off. I'm not a huge fan of flying mounts, even though I do several of them. Seems most customers like having something that hangs on the wall, so I may go with something like this:

Not a bad choice either...and great work by the way.

Full turkey mount will be my next fixation...hopefully come this May.
