Tanning hides???
What is the best way to do this? What do I need to get started doing my own?

I don't know about doing it yourself, but my taxi does them for $100. Thats my vote!

Exactly. There is no way any home-tan will come close to the quality you will get from a commercial tannery. It is worth every penny.

You can get a good tan at home but you're going to have to buy all the equipment and checmicals that a tannery uses and unles you're going to do 40 a month then your supplies will eat up any of the money you're saving doing it yourself.
