Default wanting to do taxidermy work

Does anyone know how to go about getting into the taxidermy work? This may seem silly but is there a school or any classes you can take to teach you the basics?

There are several schools around that will teach you the basics of Taxidermy, but they usually cost a fortune. I learned from a local taxidermist that would let me sit and watch. When he got done with all of his work he showed me the basics. That was 2 years ago and I now have my own shop and am taking in plenty of work to keep me busy. If I didn't have a this as a part time and my typical full time day job than I too would be willing to teach someone who was interested in learning. Just keep your eye open you may find someone willing to do the same. Good luck.

Paulke is correct. That website is where I learned taxidermy. After learning the basics, I seeked one on one training. Keep your eye open...but on the same note, be careful. You don't want to learn from a hack. That is why when/if you seek training, remember, you get what you pay for.
