Default European mount - maceration

I am working on a whitetail buck european mount using the maceration process. The process is generally workingokay, but stuff between the ears and the base of the neck isstill difficult to scrape and cut off. Is there an additive that I can put in the water or should I just relyon time? I don't havea pot big enoughto accomodate the antlers. Any thoughts? Thx.

It just takes time. The heavier the meat the longer it will take to rot. Anything you add could inhibit the bacteria.
