Default just getting started

i was looking into bird taxidermy and thought i would take a try at it. I have read a few books on it and watched a few movie and am pretty sure i got the jist of things. my question is; in the books i have read they said a bird flesher can be made from an old washer motor. will this work or is it too much? will a dremmel work in the tight places?

Never used a washer motor. A small motor that will turn a wire brush will work great. A variable bench grinder is great. You turn it down and when you apply to much pressure it will automatically stop instead of tearing up your bird.
Most upland birds can be fleshed with your finger nail and a butter knife.
Water fowl have to be degreased after fleshing. Alot of the supply catalogs have bird fleshers. Good luck with it.
