Default Advise Needed!

I have just finished cleaning a buddy's skull for him and will be doing a European mount. The only problem is that his buck is a large basket 8-point but at the base of the right side the antler has a small part that extends towards the middle of the forehead and ends with a small bump that is about a half an inch height. To whiten skulls before I have used a solution of 1 part Hydrogen peroxide and 2 parts water, soaking the skulls for about 24 hrs. Can I do the same with the one or do I need to do something different because of the extension of the right side?

Default RE: Advise Needed!

If the antler is whitened along with the bone it can easily be stained to match or touched up with some artists oils.
